What's cookin' this week...

Well, right now there are four out of six of us sick in this house. We have been surviving on peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese and today I broke out the golden elixir called chicken broth. I tend to store buckets of chicken broth in the freezer for just such a week as this. I pull it out of the freezer, heat it and dilute it a bit with water, add some salt and throw some whole wheat pasta noodles and some herbs, onions and garlic in and I have my own homemade batch of "penicillin". That is what I am having most of today. I will be back when we are feeling better and my head stops throbbing.
