International Cuisine final... (Scandinavian)

I completed the International Cuisine and Garde Manger finals this week and here is what I did...

I drew the country of Scandinavia and here is what I made.



* a pickled cucumber salad (chilled and sprinkled with dill before service



* Meatballs, caramelized potatoes and mushrooms with sour cream sauce (my sauce broke - rats) but it still tasted great! The meatballs needed work, though. That is what you get when you make a semi-vegitarian, no red meat girl make meatballs. I need practice...



* And for dessert I served the almond cake with caramelized almonds on top and a side of whipped cream

I got an A!!! WOOT!!!!!
