Pie pics...

Here is a recent Key Lime Pie I made this month.  It is always a hit with this family!  :)

I also made a fruit pie today.  I had fresh peaches from my tree and some blueberries that have recently been in season and I took the time to freeze some back and use some fresh and this was a great addition to the peaches.

I mixed the fruit with some sugar, cornstarch and a pinch of salt and then dotted it with butter (unsalted) and then did the lattice on top.

I brushed it with an eggwash and the baked it until it was golden brown on top and bubbly.

Today there is pie!  :)
