Read-a-thon updates here....

I got a late start because chickens don't wait on breakfast and neither do children.  LOL  I am 25 pages from the end of Knowing Scripture by Sproul now and taking my Made from Scratch to the ballgame with me in a few minutes.  I will try to finish Sproul after the game this afternoon and then working through a few other unfinished books to get further along in those.  I don't think there will be any fiction but I am planning on a read through of Frankenstein starting next week.  I need to put more fiction into my life but I often just read for information... I am an information junkie!  ;)

Keep going.... to my read-a-thon friends and don't forget to check in at the blog 24hourreadathon.com

Finished a chapter between plays at the ballgame... home for lunch now and then a few hours of reading this afternoon.  There will be a trip to the band contest later in the day and then a quiet evening at home with potato soup, chillaxin' with the kids, and some more reading.

Late evening:

Got in from the marching contest, had a bit of dinner and now settled in for a few more hours of reading before I head to sleep.  I have church tomorrow so I will sleep but I am hoping to be up early to read a bit more before everyone is up and ready for breakfast.  It has been a good day.

  1. If I had read more carefully when you posted about this earlier in the week, I would have totally been in. As it is, without trying much, I've finished the fiction book I was reading. I've a couple of non-fiction ones almost done, and may spend tomorrow in front of the fire reading, if the weather is chilly the way it (finally!) is supposed to be.

  2. Awesome job of fitting in reading between the business of life! Keep up the great reading!

  3. Yay! It sounds like you've done a great job of fitting reading into your day. I hope you're able to do some more reading tomorrow too :)
