Challenge Post

Let me start by saying my people are driving me crazy!!!  LOL

I had two boys that had to be out the door for events early and their father with them.  One was organized and ready on time and the other was putting on dirty shirts, could not find shoes and had to eat breakfast in the car on the way.  This all effects me!  I know... that is a selfish statement.  I own it.

This means my time for read-a-thon was completely interrupted and I barely got through three chapters in John and about five pages into a chapter of Holiness.  I am going to continue reading Holiness now that they are out of the house for a few more minutes but first... the challenges

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?  El Paso, Texas

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?  I am looking forward to finally starting A Plain Life by Scott Savage

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?  There will be Kettle Corn Popcorn today!

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!  My favorite place to read is in the purple Adirondack chair in my backyard and I will be there later this morning after the track meet for my middle boy.  LOL  I am a wife, mom, chef, gardener, musician, etc.... I wear a lot of hats.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today?
Doing differently... hmmmm.... keeping a book on me at all times because I have to be out this morning some.  I forgot a book last year when I went out.  Shame on me!

  1. I was at Starbucks at 7, but about 8:30 some very noisy men sat at my table. Honestly, they would not be quiet! LO, they apparently work for some children's nonprofit and were making appeal and program plans. But they kept chattering, and were still there when I left at noon. I like a *little* noise around me when I read, to keep me on my toes, but that was a bit too much. Hope the rest of your day is a bit more conducive to reading!
