I am an avid list maker.
I make book lists, movie lists, grocery lists, "to buy" lists, sewing lists, project lists, what I had to eat lists, gardening lists, and blogging lists just to name a few.
My favorite list is the To-Do List. I keep a running list in my Bullet Journal each week.
It is truly how I get anything done each day. I often make a "brain dump" list before bed or first thing in the morning. This list would include things I need to work on for the next day or for the coming week. Whatever comes to my mind that I need to capture before it gets away goes on that list.
The daily "to-do" list is really not my style... my list is more of a weekly planning master list or a big picture type list. I list it and then designate it to a day of the week ahead. I use categories when I am able to.
I continually find myself going back to a book I read years ago by Kathy Peel called Family Manager. She had seven basic categories and I like to divide my tasks out by that list.
It is a great list for dividing up management areas in the home. Kathy Peel's books have always been excellent for me.
Online source for the above list is here.
Conquering the To-Do List (a great list by Johnny Cash is in this WSJ article)

I also have a book coming up to review...
There is a study for this book on Proverbs 31 Ministries, too.
I will keep you posted!
